We are a congregation of the Christian and Missionary Alliance (C&MA)with a rich history and favored reputation in this community. The church has been known for its outreach to the youth in the area. KBC humbly began in a barn and saw God raise it up, in two generations, to the church building and grounds in the urban community we are in today. Several of the youth reached for Christ in that day are the Kupuna (older generation) who continue to attend and serve today. The original DNA lends itself well to our current vision:
“To be a Christ-centered ‘ohana passionate about sharing God’s story to the next generation.”
We were designed for this. We believe that KBC is positioned for a fresh awakening of God’s Spirit through the united pursuit of experiencing His very best among us.
Whether you’ve been following Jesus for years or you’re just beginning to explore faith, you are welcome here. Our desire is to be a Christ-centered ‘ohana (family) that is passionate about sharing God’s story with the next generation.

Our service typically lasts about 70–75 minutes.
Each week includes:
• Worship through music
• Children's Church
• Prayer
• A Bible-centered message
• Opportunities to connect with others
Our teaching is rooted in Scripture and focused on practical life application so that we can follow Jesus faithfully in everyday life.
You’ll see a little bit of everything.
In Honolulu that often means aloha shirts, casual clothes, and sometimes dressier attire. Feel free to come comfortable and as you are.
The most important thing to us is that you’re here.
We love families and are passionate about helping the next generation know God’s story.
We have a Kidz Connect program that begins after we sing worship to the Lord. We want our children to see the passion we have for Christ firsthand. Children are always welcome in the service, but we encourage all the children to join our children's staff for teaching designed with them in mind.
Our current children’s ministry serves approximately:
Ages 3 – Elementary School
Kids will experience:
• Bible stories
• Prayer
• Activities and discussion
• A safe and caring environment
Our volunteers are trained and committed to creating a safe, joyful place for children to grow in faith.

Our messages are biblical, practical, and encouraging.
Most Sundays we teach by camping out in a passage, allowing the Scripture and its context to drive what God’s is saying to shape our lives today.
Our goal is not just information — but transformation as we follow Jesus together.
