Faith at Home: Building a God-Centered Family

What does it look like to build a family around faith — not just in theory, but in the everyday moments of real life? This summer, we're diving into a series that gets practical and personal about what it means to make God the center of our homes.

Drawing from some of Scripture's most foundational passages, Faith at Home walks us through the rhythms, relationships, and responsibilities that shape a God-centered family. And while the word "family" is in the title, make no mistake — this series is for everyone. Whether you're single, widowed, a grandparent, an empty-nester, or someone without children, you are not on the sidelines of this conversation. Every one of us lives in relationship with others, and every one of us has a role to play in passing faith forward. The home God is building is bigger than any one household.

Over four weeks, we'll explore:

  • Faith Starts at Home — Rooted in the Shema of Deuteronomy 6, we discover that passing on faith isn't a program — it's a way of life woven into the ordinary moments of every day.
  • Modeling Faith That Children Can See — From Psalm 78, we're challenged to live a visible, storied faith — one our kids can watch, remember, and one day pass on themselves.
  • Parenting with Grace, Not Pressure — Ephesians 6 gives us a picture of parenting that is firm and loving, that disciplines without exasperating, and that points children toward the Father.
  • Creating a Gospel-Shaped Home — Colossians 3 calls the whole household into a new way of living — one marked by compassion, forgiveness, and the peace of Christ ruling in our hearts.

This is more than a parenting series. It's an invitation for every household — in every season of life — to ask: what are we building, and who are we building it around?
