Q. How long have you been attending KBC?
A. I started attending KBC as a teenager back in 1995 as a new believer in Christ. A year later, I went to Toccoa Falls College and now have come back and been serving as the Associate Pastor for the past 9 years.
Q. Reason for serving at KBC?
A. First and foremost I believe beyond a shadow of a doubt that the Lord has called me to this specific body of Christ. Secondly, it has always been my dream to be able to come back to my home Church and be a Pastor.
Q. Favorite Book of the Bible? Why?
A. I would have to say the book of Acts because in this book we see a clear picture of what a Spirit-filled Church looks like. Also, it is my desire to see the Lord raise up Acts type of Churches all across this nation.
Q. How did you become a Christian?
A. As a child, I grew up in a Buddhist family. When I was 15 years old, I attended a Youth For Christ Ice Cream outreach at Kalani High School, and heard that Jesus Christ was the only way to God and Heaven. At that moment, I believed all that was said and from that day on lived in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
Q. Favorite Scripture?
A. I would have to say my life verses which are 2 Timothy 1:6–7 which says, “For this reason I remind you to fan into the flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands. For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline.”
Q. Favorite food?
A. All types of sushi.
Q. What are your passions?
A. My number one passion is to love Jesus Christ intimately. Secondly, I am passionate about coming alongside other believers and helping them to grow into mature believers and fulfill their calling for their lives. My third passion is to be a vessel that God will work through to see the broken restored, the sick healed and
the lost be saved.
Q. What is the most rewarding part of your ministry?
A. I delight in seeing others grow in their faith because of the time that I spend with them. It’s also rewarding to see young people grow up and become leaders of ministries in and outside of the Church.
